Neil Crockett is Managing Director London 2012, Cisco UK & Ireland. His role encompasses overall responsibility for field operations, strategy and planning, as well as advocating how Cisco is investing in the UK’s future prosperity through London 2012. Neil is also at the heart of Cisco’s work showcasing how businesses can use the Olympics to transform themselves and how the company is supporting the technological innovation of the Games.Prior to his current role, Neil led the UK Public Sector Business at Cisco helping Central and Local Government bodies, Education and Healthcare providers harness technology to drive more effective and efficient public services. In total Neil has been with Cisco for 13 years in a variety of roles, including leading Cisco Capital’s European business and Managing Director for Cisco’s worldwide business with BT. Before joining Cisco Neil was the Global Sales and Marketing Director for Husky Computers a Coventry based manufacturer, National Sales Manager at Compaq Computers and prior to that worked for Rank Xerox and Arthur Andersen.
Neil is a member of the Board for Intellect, the leading trade association for the UK technology sector, a Governor at Coventry University and a member of the GB Board of Co-operation Ireland, the leading peace building charity.
